To ensure that all our staff are honest and
trustworthy, and are trained to be competent - allowing our
Service Users to live in a comfortable, safe environment
where their individuality, independence, privacy and dignity
are respected and upheld.
By providing twenty-four hour care, our Home
strives to encourage its Service Users to fulfil their
human, emotional and social and spiritual needs.
We pride ourselves on our ability to
safeguard our Service Users from discrimination on any
grounds, whether it be age, sex, disability, language, race
or religion.
We aim to promote a welcome feeling of
“Homeliness” where our Service Users will be happy - in
the knowledge that they will be provided with the support
to lead a good quality of life and reach their goals as far
as is practicably possible.
We aim to give value for money.
We strive to adhere to the regulations as
laid out by the Care Quality Commission.
Anyone over the age of 60 years of age,
including married couples or partners who, because of
physical incapacity, require help with daily living, are
entitled to apply for a place at Eldon House.
Designed to accommodate 34 Service Users,
the Home specialises in the long-term care of elderly frail
and those with varying stages of dementia.
The Home can also cater for ‘Respite Care’
subject to room availability.
One of our main aims is to help Service Users
to retain their links with their Family, Friends and the
Community. |
